United Way

Join the Wyoming County United Way in celebration of a successful campaign at the Comfort Inn in Tunkhannock from 6:00-8:00 PM. Refreshments will be served, entertainment will be provided, prizes will be given away, and the drawing for the all new 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LS… (Courtesy of Sherwood Chevrolet) will be held.

All New 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LS * Courtesy of Sherwood Chevrolet. Retail value of the 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LS is estimated at $20,000; with no cash value.

Winner must be present to win, be of legal age (18), and have proper identification. Winner will be required to pay title transfer costs and applicable taxes relating to the new vehicle transaction or any taxes related to the other prizes. The winner must make arrangements for the vehicle.

Winners are required to sign a release and hold harmless agreement in favor of the sponsors and the Wyoming County United Way and their respective agents and employees. Winners agree that the Wyoming County United Way may use his or her name and photograph for publicity purposes.

An individual may win only one prize in the current year’s drawing. Staff and board members of the Wyoming County United Way and their immediate families including spouse, parents, and children are not eligible for prize drawings.

Specific prize information is as follows:

- Gift cards/certificates are non-transferable and have no cash value.

- Cannot be used for lottery, tobacco, or any other products prohibited by law.

- Prizes will be selected in a random format.

The 2012 Chevrolet Cruze LS is a four step process, as follows:

1. 50 tickets will be chosen by January 13, 2012. Eligible ticket holders will be notified by phone and/or email prior to celebration event on January 19, 2012.

2. During the celebration 10 names will be randomly selected from the 50 tickets and will be announced.

3. A final countdown will be conducted throughout the evening... where we will be selecting names and announcing elimination of ticket holders from the drawing, till one ticket remains.

4. Upon announcement of remaining ticket holder, that finalist will have an opportunity to select the grand prize winning key.

All contributions to the Wyoming County United Way are tax deductible, however, if you choose to participate in the drawing, only the portion of your contribution in excess of the entry level of your prize selection is tax deductible.
